Every first attempt is hard...

It’s been years and years since the last time I ever touched a pencil and paper and drew something… anything…

This first attempt is from 2nd of November 2006, in art class. We had to draw shoes and stuff that were placed on a table in front of us. For this attempt to capture a boot I took about 15 minutes and used a 6B pencil. Still working on my technique (like how to hold the pencil)

I know it's not brilliant (or even 'good' for that matter) but I'd like to use it for future reference for the progress I might’ve or not made over time.
